Homecoming...

So this weekend was my RL school's homecoming.. it was SO fun!! But it got me thinking I should blog about a SL dance.  So here are some dresses I was looking at.....

I really liked this one... we all know how much AlleyCAT loves her gray depressed look! LOL

The other one I was looking at was purple.....

Thank goodness [Lvs&co] was having a mega sale on some of their fantastic gowns.  I found these two for only 10L's and was positive I found "THE ONE"! :)

Rainy Day...

Rainy Day's in RL leads to doom and gloom... Rainy Day's in SL leads to a photo opp and a perfect shopping day!  I was looking for a great deal when a great deal found me... Candydoll sent me a Group Gift via scribo and I was pleasantly surprised after I opened my gift. 

I started sifting through my million and one note cards to see if there was any awesome hunts to do... I was finding loads of fun things to hunt for but I decided to run to CandyDoll and check out the new store, which looks AMAZING (btw)!

 Needless to say I did NOT let the rain (SL nor RL) get me down... I shopped until I dropped and then got up and shopped some more! :)

Athan Selidor

My visit to Athan Selidor was a peaceful one as soon as I teleported my music which I had left on previously from another Sim was still on...the music on this land was haunting yet beautiful I enjoyed the mood it set...

I love the way this little path leads off to the side on to a private little island...It's perfect and just small enough to sit down, relax and enjoy the scenery... little islands and tree's surround the main focus each unique in it's own special way.

But my destination was the building that lay ahead my main focus was exploring its halls, rooms and courtyard. Not knowing what to expect when I get in the building only made the anticipation even greater.

Walking underwater or flying was the only way to get over there why the creator didn't build a floating bridge to the building is a mystery...

Scanning the room finding it empy I took a seat  around me were three pictures they looking kinda eery/scary... the old guy behind me definitely creeped me out..I wonder if these were the ancestors of the place...

Leaving the room after relaxing a bit I walked to another room and was shocked to see it in disarray, tree stumps coming from the ground branches and flecks of fire blowing through the room part of the wall gone and earth had replaced it the moss thick I knew this was the room where they held the meetings...meetings that were held no more..

Seeing as this room was too dangerous for me to linger any further I quickly left and went upstairs and low and behold in a room upstairs I spotted my muse..my love..my obsession..I played until the moon shone outside and escaped to my home unscathed...

Think P!nk Skins...

While on the Think Pink Hunt I realized a certain theme.... PINK girlie stuff yay!  If you asked Mary what my FAV SL color was she'd say "Lord girl, you and your 'pink'....pfft!"  So this hunt was mine for the taking!!  I found so many amazing skins while doing this hunt that I HAD to share a few with my readers..

CandyDoll sponsored this hunt so we MUST feature their skin first!  Light in skin tone and also has light pink eyeshadow that shimmers with light pink lipstick. No cleavage on this skin but I love the textures on the lips. [add some sexy lashes and you're good to go]

Skin 1

This skin was from CStar Skins. It has smokey dark eyeliner that's shape is almost catlike.  This store offered many shades in this hunt but Adri is wearing the Tan shade.  I love the freckles!  Also featured in this picture is the face piercings from iPoke, if you're anything like me they are a must for pulling of that certain tough girl look.

Skin 2

This skin is from Glam Affair.  It comes in the light tone, with different layers of pubic hair.  I love the dark eyebrows and the lips on this skin are also textured well!

Skin 3

This skin is from TIK TOK and it has smokey eyeshadow.  It comes with or without cleavage but is only available in this light tone.  I like the beauty mark next to the poppin' pink lips.

Skin 4

The last skin is from Mynerva and one of my personal favorites.  I love the texture on the face, it's very realistic looking. The sporadic freckle makes the texture that much more believable! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

My Dead Day....

Summer isn't supposed to be scary... but with Zombie Popcorn Hunt 2 coming to a close (Aug. 30th) I found myself scared beyond belief....

I found myself in a dark room... creeping towards a bloody blanket.  My fear was peaking as I grabbed the corner of the blanket and quickly tore it back to see what was underneath.  To my shock, a cold dead hand reached up toward me, I was paralyzed by my own fear.  Unable to move let alone fight back the lifeless body lifted my quivering body upward and hung me on a hook, like a worm being baited.  

It wasn't long before my body went frigged as my blood seeped to the floor.  As the last bit of life trickled down my legs I remember wondering what that beast was.... and the word zombie popped into my slowly dying brain.

The zombie quickly worked on my body, as I lay there wondering what was next... would I see a bright light? Would I be put to flames? As I started to come to... I shook my head from side to side hoping I might change the view with every nod.  I was still in the death room... still smelled the death... I was still me... or was I?

A sudden urge came over me as I smelled blood rushing through a beating heart.  I touched my chest, since surely the beating heart was my own.  I was unable to contain my shock as my hand lay on top of my rock hard cold chest.  I slowly reached inside my chest and pulled out the unbeating heart to examine it.  Just as I began my examination I heard a noise that made me realize what the earlier smell had been.  My face lifted and I spotted her, Alley Cyberstar had just creeped into the room.  Her heart was pounding as she saw me...

thump thump thump..... my hunger grew..... thump thump thump

The chase was on... I disregarded my dead heart and quickly moved towards Alley's beating one... she screamed and stumbled out of the room... I didn't mind.... I love to get my food on the go! 

Why don't you drop by some time? I'll just be hanging around until you get here.......

Getting older...

A good friend, wakawaka Snook, IM'd me on my RL birthday and told me about this store that had a complete old lady avatar.  I wasn't sure if I should be insulted or grateful until I saw the texture detail on the skins.  What a FIND!

 

Grammy is headed out for a drink... the avatar comes with free granny clothes, an AO, and even a cane! haha... loves it!

Then Grammy fell into some hard times and became a "bag-lady", SAD TIMES!  Make sure you pick up this FUN avatar....

Gardens of Apollo..

The Gardens of Apollo is a very picturesque and tranquil place. It's easy to be swept up by it's beauty and has many small spots for you and your "special someone" to get-away to. I was riding solo today, but could still appreciate the coziness of this beautiful land.

I found a place to lounge and take in this fantastic zen atmosphere. I quickly fell asleep and my dream drifted to a heaven where a devil and an angel were in a battle for the angels wings...

The battle was fierce, just when it seemed the devil figure would win the angel found some strength and leaped with all his might, breaking through the ground into the light. I awoke with a fright, it took me three large gasps of air before I got my barrings back... I couldn't shake the feeling there was someone following me after I awoke, but I was determined to see the rest of this land.

I was shocked when I came across this monument but very impressed by the creativity. After I lost my paranoia I sat down next to these giant men and read for awhile. The day was coming to a close and so I stopped by the shops looking for something special for my partner in crime Mary.
